wordless wednesday..a day late ;)

my little man is growing up...

I just realized my little Z is growing up...TOO FAST! :) i love all the new things he is doing and seeing him grow, but another part of me gets so sad that the newborn stage is over :( everyone tells you to cherish every moment and take a million pictures because they grow so fast, and now i know what there talking about!
I was at the church office the other day and when i walked in i saw Pastor Sue, so i immediately handed Zechariah over to her ( because i knew she would want to give him some love) and she turned around and said " can i ask you a question?" i said of course, and she replied " WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BABY!!" hehe ;) everyone was laughing about how he all of a sudden decided to start growing...and fast! It just reminds me to definitely cherish the moments with him while he is so little and to take more pictures! everyday he seems bigger to me :(



Anyways..the reason i was making this post was to talk about how he ate his first rice cereal yesterday :) little Z is going to soon be big Z soon, the way this little guy is eating these days!

Beautiful day in corvallis!

We got to go to Corvallis today to meet up with Stephanie, my wonderful best friend who lives in Denver and who we miss very very much and think she should move back :)anyways, Lindsey, Z, and I drove into town and met her for lunch at New Morning and also got some Gelato (yummy!!) and strolled around downtown in the gorgeous 75 degree weather. Zechariah was loving his new shades and outfit that Stephanie got for him!



I was so excited that Steph finally got to meet my little man :)It was a beautiful day and we had a great time! Thanks fannie

Congrats Lindsay!!

so, i know Lindsay isnt a Donahue..but she is a wonderful friend and auntie to little Z so i cant help but make a special blog posting just for her and her FIANCE! YAY! Derek and Lindsay got engaged today, im so happy for them and cant wait until their wedding, it is going to be beautiful! congrats to the happy couple, we love you guys!

happy saturday

happy saturday!! i am loving this weather we have been getting lately!! its such a good change from all the rain. our lawn is being mowed at this very moment and i cant wait to go out in the backyard with the baby and dog and soak in some of this Oregon sun, woohoo!!
im getting so excited for the summer and taking the baby to the pool, bbq'in with friends and going camping, yes! i miss camping, and cant wait to go this year :) i really want to learn to fish too...i dont know if that will actually happen this year, but it would be fun!! Anyways, i just got a rare few moments where the baby is content..i've decided that i hate colic, lol. Deivn and i were talking today, and we figured out that Zechariah is definetly from perfect country like his dad...rebecca, you know what i mean ;) the problem is that i am from fun country ( the best country) and so i dont really understand perfect country people, haha..but maybe this is a good thing because it will help me figure out how my husband works better and make me understand the way he thinks lol! im just hoping and praying the next 9 kids are from fun country like me, HA!
well, i better get back to trying to get some housework done while i have the chance..then its on to the backyard, woohoo!!
oh yeah, im soo excited for tomorrow..first church where we are doing some really awesome songs tomorrow :) then its off to Corvallis to see my sister whos coming in from Texas and she will finally get to meet little Z, then visiting my old church and seeing many old friends :) Yay for sunday!
