Thanksgiving

i cant believe it, but i actually forgot to take pictures of the little man on his 1st thanksgiving! I blame it on pregnancy brain, lol...that and i was busy cooking a lot of the time.
We had Thanksgiving at our house this year, which was a lot of fun for me! I have been looking forward to finally hosting a holiday and giving my parents a break from all the work, and i couldn't wait to finally cook my own thanksgiving feast! It turned out great, and i didn't even burn the turkey! woohoo :) We had my Grandma, aunt, uncle, and my mom and dad come and it was a lot of fun! too bad we didn't get any pictures though :(

But yesterday (the day after thanksgiving) Devin, Z and I went over to Devin's dad's house for another thanksgiving feast where i managed to at least snap a few pics of Zechariah

Here is a pic of Z and his cousin Alyssa

and here's a shot of my belly after the feast(finally feeling the baby kick! yay!)

halloween

Diana and her mom Beta (and Hazel too) came down to Eugene on Halloween to attend the Eugene moms group Halloween party! I was excited to see Zechariah and Hazel dressed up in their garden gnome costumes together!! Here are some pics of us getting ready to go to the party...at first Z seemed to like the beard..but 5 seconds later he wasn't too thrilled!

Here is Hazel and Zechariah all dressed up!

A special thanks to aunt Diana for making the gnome costumes!!!

The moms group party was pretty fun! They had a photo area, huge selection of delicious foods and treats, and of course lots of little ones to play and look cute!
Diana was a fox, and Beta was raggedy Ann! Devin and i didnt dress up..i know, we are lame! lol.

oh, and p.s. the cute little otter posed with Z is Toby! isn't he a cutie!!

pumpkin carving...

Well, we carved out our pumpkin, but i decided instead of carving the front, we should just put Zechariah in it instead :) Happy Halloween!

a day in Corvallis

These pics are actually from 2 weeks ago when little Z and I went to Corvallis to visit Auntie Diana and little miss Hazel ( Z's best friend)
It was quite the site trying to fit both the kids, and all our gear into the backseat of my sentra, not to mention 2 giant strollers in the truck...it took about 10 different combination's of ways to put the strollers in until we finally figured out a way..hopefully we can remember how we did it for the next time we go out on the town!

We went shopping at the toy factory...

and then headed over to visit my mom at the yarn shop and take over with our diaper changing, feeding and crying, lol!

pumkin patch!

I love fall! And I was sooo excited to take Zechariah to the pumpkin patch for the first time! We went down to Lone Pine farms which is only about 10 mins. from our house; this farm has an amazing fall setup..they have a corn maze, several pumpkin patches, horse drawn carriage rides, tractor hay bale rides, food, cider, and strangely even karaoke, lol!

We took the draft horse hay ride out to the pumpkin patch...

and Zechariah loved going "stroller 4 wheeling" with daddy...

here is the pumpkin he picked :)

and here is a family photo..too bad Zechariah was distracted at that moment, lol!

Overall it was a great afternoon, and a fun start to my favorite season! I can't wait to go back next year with Z and his little brother/sister...lately people have just been calling the baby "mystery baby" since we aren't finding out if the baby is a boy or a girl :)

HAPPY FALL!
