36 weeks & baby picture

SO originally we didn't want to get a 3D picture of the baby, because we didn't want to know what the baby looked like....but yesterday at my appointment i was measuring pretty big and developing pre eclampsia so they wanted to do an ultrasound to check on the baby and they had to do it in 3D so we got a sweet picture of our little baby :) Everything looks great with the baby and it's already weighing a little over 7 1/2 pounds! looks like we are going to have a little chunker ;) The baby was so funny during the ultrasound and refused to move, smile or do anything cute for the camera..the ultrasound tech kept saying "oh how funny, you have a such a serious baby" lol. it was cute, it was like the baby was trying to say hey, leave me alone im trying to sleep over here! lol I definitely think baby D looks ALOT like Devin (creepy) haha, jk. Cant wait to meet our little bundle of joy soon!!

Nursery Pics!

So I finally got around to taking some pictures of the baby's room! I still have a few finishing touches i want to add on the walls, but other than that, its pretty much ready for little Zechariah or Athalia to arrive!

Baby shower

man, i am a slacker when it comes to updating my blog lately! i am just a;always forgetting to take pictures :(
Anyways, we didn't take many pictures of my baby shower, but my mom did happen to get a few so here they are! It was a really nice shower...my mom is the one who threw it for me and she did a great job!! i am so thankful for her! Alot of my friends didn't make it :( but my best friend Diana made it down here from Olympia and that made my day! I had a good time, and it made me realize just how close it is getting until little baby Donahue arrives! only 6 weeks left..i cant believe it! im getting more anxious and nervous by the day ;) and just this evening when Devin got home from work, he said " i am ready for this baby to come already! i want to play with it!!" so cute!

So this past weekend Devin got an early Christmas present for himself! He really needed an upgrade on an acoustic guitar, so we headed over to Guitar center and got one woohoo! I convinced him to get this one because i thought the zebrawood was so unique and beautiful!

He is loving the sound of his new guitar and excited about having a good acoustic to play at church :)

I love cloth diapers!!

I have found a new addiction..cloth diapers!! who knew shopping for something that goes on a little one's bottom could be so much fun...and so addicting!
